Office Visits

Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children’s needs and it is our goal to make your son or daughter feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.

Your first visit is all about your child: his or her comfort, happiness, and health

During your youngster’s first visit, we will review the dental and medical history forms, and take any necessary X-rays recommended by the Dr. Hofto or Dr. Pembroke. One of our dental assistants will clean and polish the patient’s teeth. Then Dr. Hofto or Dr. Pembroke will meet with you and your little one to discuss the X-rays, help create an individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.

We understand your family has a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing for a dental visit, please remember an appointment can last between 30 and 60 minutes. Time spent will depend on your child’s unique dental needs.

Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these to that first appointment:

• Your insurance card
